What to watch out for when shopping for gifts

There’s no doubt that you’ll be spending some time in stores in the days to come, and that you’ll probably be buying a garment for either yourself or as a gift.  While we don’t want to ruin your joy, we wanted to remind you that you want that item to have a long and useful life.  That means you want to take a moment, check the care label and think twice about any garment that reads:  SPOT CLEAN ONLY or DRY CLEAN EXCLUSIVE OF ORNAMENTATION.   These items are inherently unable to withstand standard professional or at home care.  Unless it’s love, avoid them at all costs.
